Orlando Squeeze to Sponsor Pictona’s Sundown Showdown Pickleball Tournament

Holly Hill, FL, July 28, 2023 – Pictona at Holly Hill, located in the greater Daytona Beach area and, one of the premier pickleball destinations in the country has partnered with Orlando’s Major League Pickleball Team, the Orlando Squeeze, to host The Orlando Squeeze Sundown Showdown Tournament, an exciting team competition that will take place Saturday night, August 19 from 7 pm – 11 pm.

“This is a first of a kind evening tournament for us at Pictona. It’s a great way to celebrate the end of summer and kick off our robust Fall tournament season. This is a fun MLP-style team competition, with teams of four (two men and two women) competing in a round robin for the coveted win.”, said Bob Panzak, Pictona’s tournament manager. “With 50 teams registered, there will be plenty of fun competition at one of top pickleball facilities in the U.S.”

Pictona was recently named as one of the top 25 great places to play pickleball in the U.S. by Pickleball Magazine, the leading publication on the sport. With more than 36.5 million players today, pickleball continues to be the fastest growing sports in the country. With 49 courts, Pictona is able to provide an opportunity for local and visiting picklers to participate in this exciting sport.
